All new furnishings and lavish materials have been selected carefully so as to remain true to the character of this 100 year-old house. Elegance is understated and has a very relaxed feel, ideal when you are wanting to spend a few days soaking up Christchurch hospitality.
Which suits us perfectly. Dyers House is a family home and we really enjoy our guests’ company. Nothing pleases us more than when our guests say that a few nights here is more like a visit with friends.

There’s no better way to relax after arriving or after a day’s exploration of what Christchurch has to offer than sharing a glass of wine with us before dinner. No set times for this—you are on holiday and the wine flows for as long as we are all having fun! New Zealand wines and beers are generously poured.
Enjoy speciality NZ cheeses such as farmhouse brie, applewood smoked Cheddar, creamy blue vein and unripened goats cheese, to name a few. We may serve a little pate or fruit jelly along with candied nuts or dried fruit. All left up to the inspiration of the moment!
